🌱𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗸'𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀🌱 We’re proud to support neustark in their innovative project to capture and permanently store CO₂, with the future goal of absorbing as much CO₂ as 100,000 trees per year. Through a process that uses biogenic CO₂ from biogas plants and paper ash, they’re creating valuable limestone, which can be used in industries like cement, paper, and PVC production As Luca Tschurtschenthaler, Head of R&D at Neustark, explains: "Measuring the pH value is crucial for this process. With GF Piping Systems, we found a partner who helped us find the right sensors and improve the measurements." To ensure the success of this project, we’ve provided Process Automation solutions, including robust pH electrodes and the flexible 9950 Six-Channel Transmitter, which ensures accurate data collection and monitoring in the harsh conditions of the carbonation reactor. These solutions help optimize the mineral carbonation process, allowing Neustark to work towards their goal of removing 1 million tons of CO₂ by 2030.
