GRSP organized a two-day Intelligence Led Policing and Planning training for enforcement agencies in Campinas. Participants were trained on using data to plan long-term strategies, including speed enforcement, and prepared a draft plan while demonstrating commitment and excellent results.

🌟 Another insightful day at #RSELC2024! Participants discussed risk factors, policy development, and real-world implementation. The day wrapped up with dynamic group presentations, showcasing ideas and strategies. Special thanks to Prof. Wong Shaw Voon from MIROS for leading a thought-provoking session. #BIGRS

Congratulations to the 60 participants from the Mumbai Traffic Police who attended the crash investigation workshop organized by the GRSP with support from the #BIGRS 👏 The workshop focused on the safe system approach to road safety, particularly highlighting the difference and value between investigation and reporting of crashes.

#ICYMI -The Africa Road Safety Seminar 2024 was held last month in #Nairobi #Kenya, and was a resounding success! Bringing together over 200 attendees from across the African continent and featuring more than 40 local and international experts. The GRSP conducted a crash investigation training in Addis Ababa for the Addis Ababa Police Commission, Traffic Management Agency, and the Police Academy recently. Topics covered consist of fundamentals of successful investigation of road crashes and causative crash factors.

A speed enforcement training session was conducted in Mumbai, Maharashtra, in collaboration with the Mumbai Traffic Police for 56 participants. The training focused on the Safe System approach, the use and application of speed detection equipment, and the importance of both specific and general deterrence in traffic enforcement.
