Two new global crop reports from GEOGLAM (Group on Earth Observations Global Agricultural Monitoring) highlight: 🌾 Favourable global conditions for maize, rice and soybeans, with mixed conditions for wheat. 🌡️ A 71-75% chance of La Niña in the coming months, likely weak and short lived. ⚠️ Very high drought risk in southern Somalia, with widespread crop failure likely. 🌍 Coming dry and hot conditions likely to impact crops in Morocco, Algeria and the Middle East. 🗻 Central and South Asia may face lower groundwater recharge for winter crops during La Niña Read more ⤵️ https://lnkd.in/euDwmdjq
