Busy week for the id est team! 🚀 🌍   This week has been full of exciting opportunities for our team to share expertise, connect with peers, and contribute to key discussions on innovation, data protection, AI and corporate deals. Here are some highlights:   📍 On Tuesday, Juliette Ancelle and Alexandre Jotterand joined a webinar on industrial data valuation and sharing in the academic world, hosted by College of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg and Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property IGE IPI.   📍 On the same day, Michel Jaccard shared his experience in helping #startups build successful and impactful businesses as part of the firm's partnership with EHL Innovation Hub.   📍 On Thursday, the EXPERTsuisse conference on emerging technologies, which we have organized since its first edition in 2020, took place in Lausanne. Alexandre Jotterand and Michel Jaccard discussed the expanding regulatory regime surrounding the digital sector and the art of negotiating specific AI contract clauses.   📍 Later that day, Alexandre Jotterand moderated an insightful round table with the five data protection authorities from the French-speaking Swiss cantons (Stéphane Werly, Julie GERBER, Martine Stoffel, Lauris Loat, Christian Flueckiger) organized by the ASDPO (Swiss Data Protection Officers Association).   At id est, we are committed to contributing to our community and fostering a thriving ecosystem where innovation and responsible business practices can flourish. Our partner Michel Jaccard is kicking off a series of two lectures this afternoon at the Enterprise for Society Center (E4S) Master of Sustainable Management and Technology—a collaborative program by Université de Lausanne, EPFL, and IMD. In his first lecture, Michel will delve into the intricacies of building sustainable companies, covering topics like corporate governance, the role and purpose of for-profit corporations, and steward ownership.
