Swiss start-up developing advanced drug delivery systems for biotech/medtech and high-performance materials.
Info
INCAPTEK Sàrl is a start-up from Switzerland developing advanced drug delivery systems and technologies to produce high-performance materials. We design smart micro(nano)encapsulation solutions and highly innovative materials for controlled and targeted drug delivery for biotech and medtech industries. We deliver drugs at the right place, in the right dosage, and at the right time, bringing treatment outcomes to the next level. Our technologies can be used as a standalone drug delivery platform for pharmaceuticals and genetic material, as well as for drug-eluting coatings for implantable medical devices and surgical sutures. Our platform technology offers the controlled release of encapsulated drugs on demand – sustained release, release at the required time, release triggered by changes in the surrounding conditions, by external stimuli or by the cancer-specific environment. We can encapsulate practically any molecule, from small to large, making our encapsulating systems suitable for various applications, including CAR T-cell therapy, vaccines, and gene therapy. We also develop technologies to produce high-performance materials for a variety of industries, from electronics, automotive and aerospace to medtech. We push technological boundaries, providing extra performance and making production more sustainable.

I am proud to share wonderful news! INCAPTEK has won the AdMaCom2024 award! It was inspiring to participate last Friday, 26 April 2024, in the #DemoDay, where 10 #DeepTech startups selected by INAM - Innovation Network for Advanced Materials presented their technologies. Many thanks to the AdMaCom team, particularly to Oliver Hasse, Christopher Daubney, and Nahida Chowdhury, for selecting INCAPTEK to participate and for organising the AdMaCom programme (it was fantastic!). Many thanks to all the amazing mentors, the jury, and everybody involved. We look forward to continuing to work with the INAM and its partners in the future. #AdMaComDemoDay #AdvancedMaterials #Innovation #openinnovation #Startups Florian Saner Tiphaine CHARRETIER Hayata Okubo Yuri Moshkin Tatiana Schneider-Neureither Carlos Correa
🏆 Celebrating Success at Advanced Materials Competition 2024 Demo Day! 🚀 On 26 April 2024, some of the brightest minds in advanced materials gathered at TU Eins for the highly anticipated AdMaCom 2024 Demo Day, showcasing groundbreaking innovations, visionary startups, and insightful presentations. 🏅Congratulations to the winners!!! The race was tighter than ever before! INCAPTEK, represented by founder Olga Fontanellaz was awarded the Overall Winner; SCALE Advanced Biocomposites represented by Lance Johnson was honored with the Mentors' Choice award; and SERINO, represented by Amir Y. Amin and Saman Pourschaban, recognized as the Crowd's Favorite. Your contributions are shaping the future of advanced materials, and we applaud your dedication and ingenuity. One of of the highlights of the evening were the thought-provoking keynote addresses around the topic of "Advanced Materials to Accelerate the Transition to a Circular Economy," delivered by esteemed speakers Juan David Botero of Hello Tomorrow, Claudio Flores, Founder of Mimotype Technologies GmbH and current participant of RedZone by SAES, as well as Rahel Marschall of the revolutionary greenCHEM | Chemical Invention Factory project. Their insights shed light on the pivotal role of advanced materials in driving sustainability and innovation—a topic of paramount importance in today's world. Many thanks to our wonderful jury, consisting of Dr. Susanne Perner (née Steiner), Silvia Bensel, Ana Lucia Palencia, Bruno Palma, Benjamin Wolba and Juan David Botero. All finalists performed incredibly, not only during Demo Day, but also in the entire program - and will surely collect many prizes in the future: BioHalo (Johann Liebeton), Elementag (Francesco Zanin, Enrico Babetto), Depo (Kamil Kłosek, Giorgi Tchutchulashvili), FastCast Ceramics (Moritz Weiß), Nanoedge GmbH (Sven Damian), ParaStruct (Freia Ruegenberg), Re-Fresh Global (Viktoria Kanar) As we reflect on the success of AdMaCom 2024 Demo Day, we extend our gratitude to all participants, mentors, partners, and supporters who contributed to making this event a resounding success. Your passion, dedication, and collaborative spirit are the driving force behind our collective mission to advance the frontiers of advanced materials technology. A memorable day to celebrate continued innovation, collaboration, and the transformative power of advanced materials! We are hugely grateful to our AdMaCom 2024 sponsors Investitionsbank Berlin and RedZone by SAES, and parter Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH.
