    🌟 HOW TO WIN GEN Z & EMPLOYER BRANDING  🌟 At this year’s @OM-Forum, I had the privilege of speaking about one of the most pressing challenges we’re all facing: How to Win the Next Gen through effective and impactful employer branding. MADE IN GERMANY is at a Crossroads🇩🇪 Germany’s industries and workforce are undergoing seismic changes, and the challenges are clear: 1) Transformation: Traditional industries must evolve, and entirely new sectors are emerging. 2) Economic decline: Global markets are slowing, costs are rising, and revenues, orders, and investments are falling. 2) A shrinking workforce: Half of our workforce is over 45 years old. Over the next 15 years, 12.9 million people will reach retirement age. At the same time, job requirements and needed competencies are expected to increase by 65% by 2030. The result? A dramatic skills shortage. In 2023 alone, 570,000 positions went unfilled. What’s the Solution?✨ I believe the next generation—Gen Z—holds the key to our future. To attract and retain this talent, we need to rethink employer marketing. It’s not just about showcasing opportunities; it’s about building authentic, relatable, and inspiring employer brands that resonate with this generation’s values and aspirations.
