KimboCare and Swiss Re Foundation are joining hands to deploy a tech-enabled, outcome-based health program for pregnant women in Kenya (East Africa), starting fall 2022. "We believe in KimboCare's potential to make healthcare more available, accessible, and affordable." says a Manager at the Swiss Re Foundation. This collaboration is a turning point in KimboCare’s work to bring end-to-end traceability in the access and delivery of quality medical services to low-income patients. “We are very excited to see our vision further validated by contracts with high-profile, reputable organizations. After decades of discussing capacity building to strengthen emerging ecosystems in developing countries, isn’t it time to shift toward more realistic, actionable implementation? Is AI truly the Saint Graal for African health systems grappling with constrained budgets while striving for universal access to quality care? Rather than layering AI on top of fragmented, inherited, and overly complex structures, why not seize this opportunity to design AI solutions that are tailor-made, resilient, and better aligned with local realities? These are some of the questions I’m eager to explore as KimboCare shares the stage with inspiring leaders like Sofiane OUAARI, Safia Agueni, Yassine Abdeldjebbar, and many others. Together, we can boldly articulate a vision that brings quality care within reach for low-income populations across the globe. We're headed to the African Startup Conference in Algiers this week! Landmark event hosted by the Ministery of Knowledge economy, startups and micro-enterprises of Algeria. Core topic: How lessons learned from Trust Valley in Switzerland can help effectively build digital trust and enhance cybersecurity across Africa? Hello everyone, Unfortunately, we didn't win the 3rd edition of the Digital Health Hackathon. But this experience has taught me so much, and it doesn’t diminish the hard work we put in. In the tech field, having a great program isn’t enough; knowing how to sell it is just as crucial. One key takeaway from this journey is clear: being a good developer is essential, but mastering the art of selling your ideas is even more important. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to KimboCare for giving me the opportunity to participate in this amazing event. A big thanks as well to their partners for making this event a success. Qu’est-ce qu’African Health Award ? C’est une solution basée sur la blockchain et l’intelligence artificielle, qui assure une gestion transparente, sécurisée et efficace des événements de bout en bout.
