Leica DMC-4 successful test by AdV The DMC-4 airborne system has been designated by the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Vermessungsverwaltungen der Länder der Bundesrepublik Deutschland" (AdV) as a reliable solution for generating 4-band Digital Aerial Images (RGBI), image-based DSM, True Ortho, Stereoscopic measurements, and Mesh. AdV is the German umbrella organisation of the authorities of the sixteen Laender of the Federal Republic of Germany competent for land surveying and cadaster and of three federal authorities. The AdV assessment of Leica Geosystems' large format imaging technology follows several other successful quality and accuracy reviews by government agencies and industry experts across Europe and North America since the launch of DMC-4 in 2022.
