📖 This week saw the release of our new research brief, 'Le Droit à l’Alimentation à Genève' that aims to present the definition of the right to food and the obligations to respect, protect, and fulfil this right, without discrimination, as enshrined in the #Geneva #Constitution. Written by research fellow Christophe Golay, the publication was accompanied by a shorter research brief in English, French, Italian and German. Our Rapid Relief Kitchen container (RRK) is currently en route to #Beirut to be operated by #sawablessedNGO to support humanitarian aid for the population affected by the recent military aggression. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to #TamariFoundation, #CMACGMFoundation, Ginox Swiss Kitchen, and all the individual donors whose contributions made this initiative possible.❤️ Notre conteneur de Cuisine de Secours Rapide (RRK) est actuellement en route vers #Beyrouth, où il sera opéré par #sawablessedNGO pour soutenir l'aide humanitaire destinée à la population affectée par la récente agression militaire. Nous souhaitons exprimer notre profonde gratitude à la #TamariFoundation, à la #CMACGMFoundation, à la Ginox Swiss Kitchen et à tous les donateurs individuels dont les contributions ont rendu cette initiative possible. ❤️

The RRK hasn’t reached Lebanon yet, but as always, I’m moving full speed ahead. The second shipment is already taking shape: we’ve secured 50 indestructible Swiss army pans, capable of safely moving 20,000 liters of warm food for extended periods. These will fill about half of a 20-foot container. Now, we need your help to fill the rest! If you have industrial kitchen equipment to spare, please get in touch. And most importantly, keep Mater running strong with a donation, any amount makes a difference! Cheers!

Drum roll 🥁... And this is it! Please meet Matterhorn Éthéré, Légende des Brumes d’Automne. It is my contribution to this year’s GivingTuesday Switzerland initiative, led by SwissDonations and I feel honored to do this donation of this photography that captures the timeless beauty of the Alps (you know how much I love Matterhorn). Starting today, SwissDonations and 46 partner organizations have come together to launch a nationwide movement of generosity across Switzerland. Each association is passionately working in areas like health, human rights, environmental protection, and social support, bringing communities closer to meaningful change. My sincere thanks to Roland Chauville, President of SwissDonations, and to all the participating associations.
