In mid-September, the "Family & Law" cluster convened in Zurich for its second meeting. The project groups—“Digital Justice in Family Law,” “Domestic Violence,” and “Child Protection – Covid-19 and Beyond”—shared their preliminary findings on key issues. Topics included the use of digital platforms in family justice, the impact of containment measures on domestic violence, and how childcare has evolved during the pandemic.
These initial results were thoroughly discussed and reflected upon with stakeholders from the Federal Social Insurance Office, the Swiss Federal Office of Justice, the Federal Chancellery, and the Eidgenössische Kommission für Familienfragen (EKFF) fostering a collaborative approach to addressing these matters.
Additionally, the cluster provided an opportunity for the project groups to address current challenges of their research. The discussions were highly productive, marked by mutual support and a shared commitment to advancing the work.
Thank you all for participating!
