We’re proud to announce that the garment concept teempo has been named the winner of the 2024 ISPO award for TexTrends BEST PRODUCT Apparel Edition! 🎉 Teempo is the result of an inspiring, performance & purpose-driven collaboration. Designed and manufactured by Grupo Impetus, these garments are made using naNea, our innovative, high-performance biodegradable polyester yarn. 🇨🇭150 Years of Impact – A Milestone of Innovation and Sustainability!    This year, Swiss Textiles celebrates its 150th anniversary with a series of initiatives showcasing the innovation and future readiness of the Swiss textile and apparel industry.      A key initiative includes inviting national councillors and members of the council of states to visit member locations that embody this dynamic and forward-looking image.     On November 13, 2024, OceanSafe was honored to welcome Flavia Wasserfallen – President of the Swisstransplant Foundation Board, President of Geliko (Swiss Health Leagues Conference), and a member of the Council of States since December 2023 – along with Björn von der Crone, responsible for Economic Policy and Market Access at Swiss Textiles, to our offices located in Bern.     The visit was inspiring and reaffirmed that the Swiss textile industry is committed not only to its rich traditions but also to innovation and sustainability.     #OceanSafe #150YearsofImpact #Innovation #Future #Sustainability #SwissTextileIndustry #NextGenMaterials #Circularity #Biodegradable

Last week at PERFORMANCE DAYS, the whole OceanSafe team had a great time connecting with the industry. Our booth in the Innovation Zone was busy with dynamic discussions and hands on material samples that showcase the versatility and performance of our biodegradable polyester, naNea.  Key highlights included:    ➡️ Performance Partnerships: It was an honour to have naNea featured in the Innovation Forum multiple times, recognised by the jury for its leading performance and sustainability attributes.
