National Future day at Optotune   Last week Optotune Switzerland welcomed a fantastic group of young visitors to spend the Swiss national future day with us. On this day, children from the 5th to 7th grade can accompany their mother or father to work for a day and since 2001, the National Future Day has encouraged young girls and boys to learn about new career perspectives, unbiased of gender stereotypes and prejudice in the workplace to gain practical insights into careers that are focused on their interests and talents.   Through hands-on activities including RnD workshops to inspire an interest in engineering where children built their own Lego pieces, demonstrations on how our optical lenses work and connecting with our employees through interview sessions, the children learned about the dynamics of working at Optotune.   We hope this day introduced a new prospective career to the children, filled them with interest in our work, and sparked inspiration in the youth of tomorrow!
