📣Announcement: The Release of My Latest Publication! 💧🌍 I’m thrilled to share the release of my latest publication, Mines and Water: Interpreting European Industrial Heritage in the Anthropocene, published as part of the Anthropocene serie (Volume 4). Peter Lang International Academic Publishers 📖 This edited collection, co-edited with Elena Bougleux, Albina Pashkevich, and Sanja Iguman, delves into the intersections of European industrial heritage and the ecological challenges of the Anthropocene. Over 232 pages, we explore how mining legacies and water management inspire us to rethink the interactions between industrial history, the environment, and sustainable futures. 🔍 Key themes include: - The environmental impacts inherited from mining. - The symbolic role of water in industrial landscapes. - How industrial heritage can shed light on today’s ecological challenges. 💡 This book is the result of an Erasmus+ project, which brought together researchers, educators, and practitioners from across Europe to collaborate on the study and reinterpretation of industrial heritage within the Anthropocene framework. The project emphasized the importance of cross-border dialogue and interdisciplinary approaches to addressing global challenges. 📚 This publication is aimed at researchers, students, and anyone passionate about history, industrial heritage, and environmental studies.
