The Phoenix Mecano Group's consolidated gross sales for the first nine months of 2024 remained slightly below last year’s level, with growth in the DewertOkin Technology Group Co., Ltd. largely offsetting declines in the two industrial divisions. Changes in the business mix led to uneven capacity utilization and slightly reduced profitability, while incoming orders and a book-to-bill ratio above 1 indicate positive business momentum. Phoenix Mecano has reaffirmed its guidance and medium-term targets through 2026. Read the press release here: https://lnkd.in/e5gXyDV2

PTR HARTMANN is known for its high-quality electrotechnical components, which are used worldwide in a wide variety of applications. The company offers an extensive portfolio that ranges from switches and precision spring contacts to inductors and interface blocks and integrated connection technology. In order to meet the growing demands of the market, heavy investments are now being made in the infrastructure. On September 17, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony took place for a modern office building with a production hall, which is being built on a plot of land of approx. 13,000 m². The new premises include a two-story office area of approx. 2,000 m² and a production area of 5,000 m². Completion is planned for December 2025. The involvement of employees in the planning of the new location is particularly noteworthy. This shows PTR HARTMANN's commitment to creating a working environment that is not only modern, but also tailored to the needs of employees. The new offices will be equipped with a well-thought-out acoustic and lighting concept to ensure optimal working conditions. The energy concept of the new building meets the KfW 55 energy standard and focuses on sustainability. A photovoltaic system with an output of 100 kWp and a connection to a local solar park with 30 MW will be installed to cover energy requirements in an environmentally friendly way. In addition, the innovative energy concept will also include an air conditioning and ventilation system and heat recovery of machine waste heat.

Ever wondered what it takes to build human-machine-interface (HMI) systems? In just over a minute, this short video will show you how the colleagues at Phoenix Mecano Hungary do it.
