Fuel cell air handling test rig taken into operation In the first half of this year we had been able to supply our first test rig to handle electrified turbomachinery systems for fuel cell applications. The test rig had been built up in a container and was 90% commissioned before delivery and therefore came into full operation only a few days after shipping and installing at the costumer site. The container solution does not require additional installations beside electrical power connection, chilled water connection and pressurised air supply for auxiliary units. Standard equipment includes DC power supply, compressor and turbine inlet conditioning system, 2 water conditioning units, bearing air conditioning system, full instrumentation, data acquisition, surge detection and automated mapping function.
