Hey, Scala Toolkit 0.3.0 & 0.4.0 are out! The 2 versions have been released in close succession to address Scala Native 0.5.x support. Sneak peek: Scala Toolkit 0.4.0 will become the default version starting with Scala CLI 1.4.0, which should be out very soon. You can try it out today by pinning the version yourself, or by using the nightly version of Scala CLI. Scala Toolkit 0.3.0 is the last version supporting Scala Native 0.4.x. It also updates the dependency projects it bundles: • os-lib to 0.9.3 • upickle to 3.2.0 • sttp to 4.0.0-M12 • munit to 1.0.0-M11 Check the release notes at https://lnkd.in/dDVhP-Rj Scala Toolkit 0.4.0 adds support for Scala Native 0.5.x, but drops 0.4.x and earlier versions. It also updates the dependency projects it bundles: • os-lib to 0.10.0 • upickle to 3.3.0 • sttp to 4.0.0-M14 • munit to 1.0.0-RC1 Check the release notes at https://lnkd.in/dhpmqAgS

Did you know? 👀 Scala CLI not only allows to build pure Java projects, but also supports using directives inside of .java inputs. No need for a project.scala or any cryptic build configuration file. Try declaring dependencies, JVM versions, Java properties, compiler options and more, directly in your sources. It's basically just a step away from being a Java CLI 🤔 Give it a try! 💪 #scalaspace #scalaCLI #scala #java #programming #code
