Securecell will participate in the #ABPDU Next Gen Tech Expo virtual exhibition on 10 December 2024, at 9:15 AM (PT). Pascal Vonlanthen will highlight several real-world applications of Securecell's technology for #Automating and #Digitalizing Bioprocess Development. One example demonstrates how a company's digital framework significantly enhances bioprocess efficiency and data integrity. Another example showcases a company’s strategic, step-by-step approach to automation and digitalization. A third, example features for the first time on-line, multi-dimensional liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) for real-time monitoring of antibody quality attributes, which has contributed to developing more robust processes and consistent product quality. While not all examples are specific to the SynBio community, many insights and lessons can be directly applied. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming young minds to our company for Swiss Future Day 2024, offering them a hands-on experience across a variety of exciting professions. Through engaging workshops, the children explored the fascinating worlds of mechanical and electrical engineering, software development, and science. Here’s what their journey looked like: 🔬 They examined objects under a microscope and conducted a thrilling chemistry experiment. 💻 Using CAD software, they designed a custom plate, which was then brought to life with our 3D printer. 🔧 With construction plans in hand, they built a remote-controlled car, assembling the electrical circuits needed to power it. 📱 Finally, they programmed software that allowed the car to be controlled via a smartphone. ✨ They also enjoyed a fascinating demonstration of our automated sampling system Numera, showcasing the process using fluorescent liquid. The enthusiasm and curiosity of these young visitors were truly inspiring! A big thank you to our dedicated team members—Salome Strässle, Nicolas Scalbert, Pawel Brzozowski, Florian Kueng, and Stephan Bielmann—for making this day an unforgettable and enriching experience for everyone involved. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/ejPkQJsa The Securecell #Numera® system facilitates fluidic integration of at-line analytics with bioreactor systems, enabling automated sample scheduling and allowing at-line measurements to influence bioreactor operations directly through the integrated #Lucullus® software. This system was utilized in a transient AAV2 production process using an 8-STR DASbox® system for both offline and automated at-line monitoring. The results showed that manual and automated sampling provided comparable measurements for cell viability, density, metabolite concentrations, transfection efficiency, and AAV2 titers.
