Switzerland is not like most countries. It has no official capital city but makes up for it by having 4 official languages. Regional characteristics are strong, and the 26 cantons function as states within the federation. Nonetheless, there is a strong feeling of belonging together, despite the differences. To the outside world, the “Swiss” brand is thus homogenous, strong, enviable, precise, orderly. By joining forces, the Swiss federal states have achieved what they never could have done alone. These concepts apply to the founders of this local chapter initiative as well. Our group brings together educational, research, enterprise, agency and freelance experience, backgrounds in architecture, design, human-computer interaction and business. It is along these same concepts that we have identified the SDN Swiss chapter goals: 1. Join Forces 2. Mix Differences 3. Grow Together by Building on Heritage

Ever wondered if you're getting paid what you're worth... The Global #ServiceDesign Salary(+) Report is back again to help you find out. For the last four years, this report has empowered service design professionals to make better-informed career decisions and confidently negotiate their salaries. It also provides much needed data to foster transparency and advance the maturity of our field as a whole. Some facts about the report: * It has been used by over 20.000 people since its launch in 2021 🤯 * In 2024, we added data from over 1300 professionals in 50+ countries. * Last year, the average global salary satisfaction score was a 7.0/10. * Only 46% of the participants had an "official" service design job title! I've heard from many that they have successfully leveraged the report to negotiate better compensation, while companies have used it to establish competitive and honest salaries for new hires.
