HOW I MET MY TEAM MEMBERS: The One Person Every Entrepreneur Needs: A Simone! 🙌
Whenever I talk to someone about starting a company, I always highlight a few key things. First, make sure you have an accountant and a lawyer to get everything set up in a correct way. Then, you need to be prepared to be the last in line for everything – except decision-making. This includes paying yourself last, after your team and your invoices are paid.
But there’s one thing that’s even more important than all of that. When starting a company, you absolutely need a Simone Dahinden. If you’re starting two companies like me. You definitely can’t manage without one!
Simone is more than an Office Manager for me – she’s the glue that holds everything together behind the scenes, in the areas people rarely think about when they look at a company’s with a surface perspective. From managing having an overview over all agreements and control on government reporting, payments to handling, banking, follow up the accountant and ensuring clients pay on timeetc. etc, Simone has 100% control.
Here’s some of the why she’s truly exceptional:
• Master of Multitasking – She effortlessly juggles multiple responsibilities, keeping everything on track for both me and others she works for.
• Efficiency Extraordinaire – Simone ensures everything runs smoothly, never missing a deadline, and making sure the rest of us don’t either!
• The Office Oracle – If there’s a question in her domain, Simone always has the answer. And if she doesn’t have it immediately, you can be sure she’ll find it.
As I’ve shared before in my LinkedIn stories, it’s vital to have a team that complements each other. Simone complements both me and the rest of the team perfectly. I truly couldn’t do what I do without her.
Many leaders feel they need to do everything themselves. I understand, trust can be hard. But if that’s how you feel, you probably haven’t found your Simone yet. I trust her completely, and she brings positivity and a smile to the work every single day.
Now, I know posting this can lead to a line of people trying to get Simone to their company – but don’t even think about it! We've made a pact! 😉
