6 highlights from Sitem StartUp Club: January in review 🌟 We would like to thank Daniel Buser for the invitation to the 3K event at Kursaal Bern that kicked off the year’s very first work week! 🎉 This event provided insight into several fascinating philanthropic projects in Bern, like the Multidisciplinary Center for Infectious Diseases (MCID Bern)) run by Carmen Faso, PhD Faso and Volker Thiel. We also got to hear from philanthropists themselves on how to be a “friend to humanity.” 🌍 Of course, being a friend to human beings is what we do best at the HUB: our community is back to work and they still take a moment to reconnect and catch up after a busy start to the year. Some even find time to bake! 🍯 Thank you Annalea Luther and Karen A. for contributing tasty treats to help fuel healthy minds. 💡 Some food for thought: two of the most dedicated participants of our MedTech Talks, Sabrina Stöckli and Olivier Schären of Santella, were awarded a big check from Ypsomed Innovation Award just last week: CONGRATULATIONS! 🏅 Well done!
