𝗛𝗖𝗣'𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 Yesterday, we attended a small conference on AI in asset management organized by SPHERE Swiss Financial Arena in Geneva. Obviously, that topic is at the heart of HCP Asset Management's innovative AI stock-picking approach. Presenting at this event were, among others, Florent F. Garcin from Ethos, Alexis de Bernis from SILEX, and Professor Semyon Malamud from Lausanne's EPFL. The latter stressed that a common complaint about AI is that it suffers from hallucinations. However, he went on to explain that humans also experience this effect. We all heard about the surveys in which more than half of the people—typically 70-90 %—believe that they are above-average drivers. That effect could probably also be observed in portfolio and wealth managers' ability to pick the best stocks. Our AI agent helps identify non-linear relationships that humans may fail to realize or for which they do not have the capacity to process, given the amount of available information. Hence, such a system can help portfolio and wealth managers concentrate on the companies where AI sees potential, complementing their fundamental analysis. Last week, we presented the AI's top Swiss stock pick. Today, we are looking at the Euro Stoxx 600. Our portfolio (consisting of the stocks predicted to show the top 10 % performance) matured this week after precisely three months. It showed an excess return of 2.5 % over this period (or annualized above 10 %, gross of any fees). Hence, it also seems to work for European stocks... We have run the numbers for the new European portfolio. Please reach out if you are interested in which names are now top-ranked by our AI engine. #ai #machinelearning #innovation #assetmanagement 𝘋𝘐𝘚𝘊𝘓𝘈𝘐𝘔𝘌𝘙: 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘴, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦.
