Swiss Cluster AG develops innovative coating equipment for R & D and industrial production. Our novel and revolutionary designs challenge the industry standard in order to improve industrial process times and film quality in ALD coatings to medium to large 3D parts in different markets (semiconductor, medical, watch, optics) or fabricate new material systems by combining different deposition techniques with our SC-1 series systems. We offer R & D services and customized solutions for coating equipment, hardware/software and processes with our novel approach. Our goal is to enable researchers and companies with the tools to accelerate their next materials breakthroughs.

    🚀 Exciting news: Swiss Cluster has been awarded a €2.3M contract by the Institut d'Électronique, de Microélectronique et de Nanotechnologie (IEMN) at University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology! This project is made possible thanks to funding from the PEPR battery program, Métropole Européenne de Lille (MEL), Lille University Foundation, and Région Hauts-de-France, with the support of the RS2E - French research network on electrochemical energy storage. Their backing underscores the critical role of collaboration in driving forward technological progress. The Institute selected our unique system design—including our SC Qube and two SC-1 units seamlessly integrated within a glovebox—to power their ambitious research in next-gen battery technology. This specialized setup, equipped with advanced metrology tools and our (PE)ALD-PVD capabilities without breaking vacuum, will play a critical role in advancing the Institute’s goals in material innovation. This partnership isn’t just a milestone for us; it underscores our commitment to delivering precision-engineered solutions that meet the highest standards in scientific research. We’re proud to partner with Université de Lille in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in energy storage technology.
