Delighted to have participated in #Fashion4Land at COP16Riyadh! Liliana Annovazzi-Jakab, UNECE/FAO Forests, shared how #woodbasedfibers are revolutionizing #sustainablefashion while protecting #land and ecosystems. "They can make a difference without causing deforestation — the key is sustainable forest management, planting before harvesting and ensuring a continuous cycle with mixed forests, not monoculture," she emphasized. Glad to have also heard from other inspiring speakers and panelists who brought diverse perspectives on how the #fashionindustry can become more sustainable and land-friendly.
