🌱🍊 Last week, Norm Janssen, Carl Rentes, and Fleur Gulien from our team were at FRUIT LOGISTICA in Berlin, demonstrating our sustainable and smart technology while connecting with inspiring industry specialists and experts. At our stand, visitors experienced firsthand how plants respond to environmental stressors, crop stress and nutrient deficiencies in real time using our live dashboard and new mini sensors. It was amazing to demonstrate how even something as simple as tapping a leaf can trigger a response, highlighting the power of plant electrophysiology in action. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗰𝘂𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴? supplemental lighting is a powerful tool for optimizing plant growth and development in greenhouses? Cucumbers, as a high-light demanding crop,  known for its vigorous growth and significant photosynthetic capacity. 🥒 In collaboration with Lethbridge Polytechnic, Vivent’s AI and ML- driven technology was used to directly measure plant signals and monitor stress responses with cucumbers throughout the season. One key insight? Plants under HighBay and LPC7 treatments showed significantly lower stress levels compared to control and HPS treatments. 🔍 Curious about the full research findings? Last week, Norm Janssen attended the 2025 Irrigated Crop Production Update in #Canada, hosted by Lethbridge Polytechnic. 🇨🇦 A huge congratulations to Willemijn Appels, Senior Research Chair of the @Mueller Irrigation Research Group at Lethbridge Polytechnic, and the teams who organized this highly insightful session!
