It was a blast at VOLTA Art Fair NYC 2024 this year. I curated a booth for artist, Ivan Stojakovic who's work explores painting, collage and sculpture with found industrial, and organic materials. The artist is deeply engaged with the process of multi-layered integration, and strives to create rich sensory experiences for viewers to explore. Through a constructivist mixed media process, he builds metaphors that serve as environmentally themed narrative possibilities. While working in this way, Stojakovic balances on the fine line between abstraction and representation. I look forward to future curatorial projects.
