"𝐋𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐨?" I get this question a lot 😉 So, let me break it down: People often see me present online, on global stages, and at various events. You might spot me in photos anywhere from a YESS Circle project visit in an African country to international happenings among global leaders. 💡 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈’𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭: 1) YESS Impact: Seven years ago, I founded my first consulting company to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We collaborate with businesses, international organizations, governments, and investors to create meaningful change. 2) YESS Circle: My NGO. Four years ago, I started our projects in Uganda focused on #entrepreneurship, #financialinclusion, and #blockchain. YESS Circle is building upon this legacy, expanding globally, focused on using technology and #innovation to drive sustainable development. 3) 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠: Through the 𝐘𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 #𝐏𝐨𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭, 𝐤𝐞𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬, 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬, I work to raise awareness about social impact and inspire others to contribute to positive change. 4) 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬: By serving on boards and being an ambassador for various organizations, I help further their missions and support impactful initiatives. 5) 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: As a #impactinvestor, I focus on companies that bring about positive societal change. I also co-lead the Female Investors Network (FIN) Swiss chapter and matchmake between investors and impact startups. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐖𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲? Recently invited to the high level event alongside presidents in Bulgaria by Clinton Foundation and Domuschiev Impact, we went deep into the subject. The lineup of speakers was nothing short of phenomenal. We heard from inspiring leaders like: - Vjosa Osmani, President of the Republic of Kosovo - Cherie Blair CBE (Cherie Booth K.C.) CBE (Cherie Booth K.C.), Founder of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and Tony Blair's wife - Ozlem Denizmen, Founder and CEO of Monay - Jessica Espinoza, CEO of 2X Global - Elpida Kokkota, Founder and CEO of Mexoxo - Jocelyn Mangan, Founder and CEO of Him for Her Their discussions included financial and business education, breaking down of investors bias, use of AI, visbility network and scaling of existing initaitives. Deeply impactful, enlightening and motivating initivatives and insights were shared. This event was a powerful reminder of the impact of investing in women entrepreneurs and the importance of continuing to break barriers. As a global NGO with its headquarter in Zurich, we now got to celebrate the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 🎉 Since my teenage years, I have been active in NGOs and international organisations around the world. Dreaming of making a tangible difference has been a driving force in my life. Fast forward to 2020, that dream began taking shape when I started various successful projects in Uganda on #entrepreneurship, #blockchain, nutrition etc. and beyond.
