We were delighted to be tagged by @LVG Textile Art & Design on an article in the Hungarian Applied Arts magazine/website which we just had to share... here's a brief resume in English: "A Weaving Prodigy Plays with Spatial Effects Gabi V. Lőrincz, textile virtuoso and star designer on Zollanvari’s stand at MaisonetObjet in September 2024, talks to Magyar Iparművészet (the Hungarian Applied Arts magazine) on her own success and the opportunities for her young colleagues. Gabi V. Lőrincz describes herself as an experimental designer. She is a textile artist from Budapest, whose entire work is strikingly permeated by the joy of experimentation. She seeks innovative solutions in patternmaking and structure-building. Her name is associated with several innovations in the field of carpet, tapestry and fabric design. In 2024 as we reported on all our social media channels, Zollanvari presented her to the international press as our featured designer in Paris premiering two of her designs, Glass Window and Reflection, showcased in this article from an interview that took place at the Hungarian Rug Artist Association's Showroom in MaxCity."
