Earlier this week, Vinicius Gomes de Lima Gomes de Lima and I had the pleasure of hosting a vibrant networking hour in Basel for the MAPS Switzerland & Nordics Chapter community. The energy and enthusiasm were truly inspiring, with attendees engaging deeply and showing a genuine desire to contribute to the growth of our #medicalaffairs community. We are incredibly grateful for the support from the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) team, Yasmin Cogan de Abreu , Jason Acord, QAS , and our president, Tamas Andras Koncz, which made this gathering not only successful but a memorable experience for everyone involved. Please let us know if you would like to learn how to get involved. (Hint: it is incredibly easy to do it!)

I had the privilege of attending the MAPS Switzerland & Nordics Chapter networking event on September 24th, and for me it reinforced why the Medical Affairs Professional Society is such a valuable organization for Medical Affairs professionals. 🌟
The event, hosted by Chapter Leads Bora Erdemli and Vinicius Gomes de Lima, was an incredible opportunity to exchange ideas, build relationships, and get inspired about all the possibilities in Medical Affairs. Events like these always leave me feeling energized and motivated to make a real difference for patients. 💡
If you didn’t get a chance to attend, I highly recommend staying tuned for future events. It’s a perfect opportunity to grow, learn, and contribute to the Medical Affairs space. 🚀
For those who attended—what were your favorite insights or takeaways? I'd love to hear your thoughts and keep the discussion alive! 💬

This week marked our inaugural networking event in Zurich, hosted in collaboration with EPM Scientific. We were thrilled to welcome around 40 #medicalaffairs professionals to this exciting gathering.
Vinicius Gomes de Lima opened the event, setting the stage for an insightful panel discussion moderated by Andy Higgins. Our esteemed panelists—Markus A. Ott, Sangeetha Anand, and Olivia Kager—shared their expertise on the evolving role of medical affairs in strategy and breaking down silos across functions.
The day concluded with a vibrant networking session allowing attendees to connect and share ideas.
Stay tuned for more chapter activities! Your feedback is invaluable, so let us know what you’d like to see in future events.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us!
