A multitude of Moroccan youth are passionate about solving social and environmental challenges, but often lack the guidance and understanding that true change often happens in the political sphere, not just within civil society. I didn’t fully realize this until three years into my civic engagement journey—and that’s okay. This weekend, I had the privilege of attending the North Africa seminar organized by ALYF | Africa Liberal Youth for Freedom in Rabat. It marked the start of a journey to deepen my political understanding, especially within the African context, to drive meaningful change. We explored the core values of liberalism and gained valuable insights into diverse political landscapes across Africa. A huge thanks to ALYF for bringing together like-minded individuals from Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, and the Netherlands, creating a safe space for the conversations we need to be having more of. #YouthEmpowerment #PoliticalAwareness #AfricanYouth #Liberalism #ALYF #Leadership
