Unlocking Finance for Regenerative Agriculture 💰🌱 Last week, we brought together over 55 partners to explore financial solutions for scaling Regenerative Agriculture. Insightful discussions unearthed the challenges and opportunities in mobilizing capital for nature-positive solutions, linking to the Financing for Regenerative Agriculture report by The Rockefeller Foundation Pollination and Transformational Investing in Food Systems, and to the Scaling Nature Finance Now: The Opportunity for Investors in Brazil and Beyond report, by High-Level Climate Champions, Capital for Climate,UN Environment Programme, The Nature Conservancy and IFACC Initiative. Key workshop takeaways: 📌 Shift from isolated opportunities to larger and fewer comprehensive financial structures, including "fund of funds". 📌 Aggregation of opportunities is relevant to match ticket size. Landscape and country platforms seem to be suitable and feasible models. 📌 Combining philanthropy's flexibility with institutional investment discipline can enhance success. Insurance and other risk-mitigation tools play a crucial role, including facilitating data collection and information aggregation to improve business models. 📌 Nature and climate needs to be valued and stronger carbon, resilience and biodiversity credit markets can both generate additional income and reduce agriculture overall impact. 📌 The next step is to take these insights and connect investors with opportunities within regenerative agriculture. 📌 Participants also agree to share targets, narratives and deliverables ahead of COP30 📌 For investment opportunities in regenerative agriculture and other nature-based solutions, please visit www.capitalforclimate.com Let’s scale regenerative agriculture together! 📩 As we continue engaging with regenerative agriculture innovators and funders, we’re eager to share insights, foster connections, and accelerate impact. Sobre nosotros
The “ambition loop” is a positive feedback loop in which bold government policies and private sector leadership reinforce each other, and together take sustainable action to the next level. Ambition Loop is a Chilean based non-for-profit dedicated to advancing systemic change to deliver against the SDGs. We believe in the power of bold collective goals, and in the need for generosity among partners to foster radical collaboration - there is more than enough work for all of us! We work on a small number of broad systemic topics such as plastics, food systems, climate finance and industrial transformation. Central to our vision is the steadfast commitment to the role of government, the importance of multilateral collaboration and the need to mobilise all actors to drive systems change, particularly the private sector, civil society, and sub-national governments. Ambition Loop is driven by a profound sense of responsibility towards the planet and its inhabitants. Our mission is to lead and inspire coordinated, transformative action on a small number of major challenges across climate change, biodiversity, plastics pollution, food systems, and water. We are dedicated to promoting a sustainable and resilient future for all. We understand that no one is in charge of systems transformation but we believe that diverse groups of change agents converging on shared bold goals and pathways have the power to innovate and inspire each other to achieve remarkable results.
