EDM has just successfully completed commissioning and training for our HXR40 Horizontal rig and TSV Rod Presenter in Kazakhstan. The crews braved the sub-zero temperatures to carry out post shipment commissioning and operational/maintenance training for our valued client in the region. Fitted with cold weather kits and a sealed and heated cabin, the rigs performed well in the extremely cold environments and the operational crew could safely carry out the training from the comfort of the rigs heated control cabin. Experienced Drill Rig Technicians Required. Location: Worldwide (Flexible to Travel) EDM is seeking experienced Drill Rig Technicians to join our team on a contract basis to support our globally expanding client base. This position involves working directly with our customers to provide commissioning, training, and service/maintenance support on our wide range of drill rigs and rod handling equipment around the world, on a case-by-case basis. This is a position for a highly competent drill rig technician who has extensive experience in working with Diamond, RC and Multipurpose drilling rigs in the field, with proficiency in hydraulic and electric over hydraulic systems, and compressors. The candidate must have the ability to work independently and proactively to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues if required. A strong command of English is necessary for this role and a willingness to travel at short notice to various locations including Africa, Middle East, North America, South America, and Asia.
