The end of this year marked an important milestone for the city of Puerto Natales. The World Food Travel Association awarded the city the title of Culinary Capital, a recognition that acknowledges its high standards of quality in products and services, qualities highly valued by tourists seeking an exceptional gastronomic destination. This is the first time that Chile has received such an honor, making Puerto Natales the fourth city in the world to earn this prestigious title. As part of the celebrations, our Head Bartender at Bar Pionero, Federico Gil, a leading representative of regional mixology, delighted attendees with his signature Calafate Sour. Mauricio Kusanovic Olate board member at Las Torres Patagonia, will take part in the plenary session "Exploring Sustainable Tourism in Magallanes: Strategies for Empowerment," presenting on “Forging a Sustainable Future: From Ranching to Conservation in Torres del Paine.” John O., our Conservation and Sustainability Manager/Executive Director of AMA Torres del Paine, will contribute to the panel discussion "Regenerating Southern Patagonia: Sustainable Transformation for the Region's Future.” Last but not least, our bartender, Federico Gil will also be participating, showcasing his expertise and exceptional skills in sustainable mixology.
