Today, Teva and Formycon AG announced that they have entered into a commercialization agreement in Europe and Israel, of Formycon’s Biosimilar Candidate used to treat neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) and other severe retinal diseases. The collaboration expands Teva’s broad biosimilar portfolio and demonstrates our firm commitment to creating greater access to quality innovative medicines to the benefit of patients and the healthcare systems we serve.   This agreement combines Teva’s deep commercial experience in biosimilars and its extensive distribution network and broad sales and marketing reach across Europe, with Formycon’s capabilities in the development of biosimilar medicines for highly regulated countries.    Read more here: https://lnkd.in/dR4sNtRm   #Tevapharm #Biosimilars #Collaboration

Today, Teva and Samsung Bioepis have announced that they have entered into a commercialization agreement in the U.S. of one of Samsung's biosimilar products, marking a step forward in broadening treatment options for patients with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS) and generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) in the U.S. This strategic partnership supports Teva's Pivot to Growth strategy and adds to its broad biosimilar portfolio and is a testament to both Teva's and Samsung Bioepis’ strong track record in the field of biosimilars and the potential value that these biosimilars could deliver to patients and healthcare systems.
