🌏 Day 5 of the 2024 U.S. Cleantech Mission to China: Guangzhou Our final days in Guangzhou have been filled with impactful meetings, collaboration, and unforgettable experiences as part of the U.S. Cleantech Mission to China. On the morning of November 8th, we were warmly welcomed by the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou, where we enjoyed an American lunch and met with dedicated commercial officers who are working tirelessly to promote U.S. companies, products, and the invaluable relationship between the two largest economies in the world. Their work at the front lines is instrumental in enhancing friendship and facilitating trade. In the afternoon, we had the privilege of attending the 2024 Global Investment Promotion Conference for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Here, AGreatE joined 13 other U.S. companies in presenting solutions to tackle climate change and engaging in meaningful exchanges with China’s cleantech innovators. This high-profile event featured inspiring speeches from the Governor of Guangdong, China’s Minister of Commerce, the Chief Executives of Hong Kong and Macao, the Chairman of BASF, and the CEO of ExxonMobil. The day concluded with an awe-inspiring drone show—a fitting celebration of innovation and international collaboration.
