👏 Congratulations to Daiichi Sankyo and AstraZeneca for the approval of their 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲-𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 Datroway (datopotamab deruxtecan) in Japan! It is a novel TROP-2-directed therapy for patients with previously treated unresectable or recurrent HR-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. Datroway is made up of a humanized anti-TROP-2 IgG1 monoclonal antibody, developed in collaboration with Sapporo Medical University, attached to a number of topoisomerase I inhibitor payloads (an exatecan derivative, DXd) via tetrapeptide-based cleavable linkers.
