CICC Explores Innovation and Sports in Shanghai - On February 8-9, 2025, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce CICC joined Invest Shanghai for a business visit, focusing on innovation, #business #opportunities, and #winter #sports #development. Led by CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi, alongside Board Member Emilio Cassanelli, Public Affairs Manager Wei Chen, and Italian business #representatives, the #delegation explored two key landmarks showcasing Shanghai’s commitment to #technological advancement and sports #infrastructure. On February 8, the delegation visited the Shanghai Planetarium, the world’s largest and most advanced planetarium. Featuring state-of-the-art simulation systems, AI-powered exhibits, and interactive displays, the facility #highlights China’s advancements in #space research, and #astronomy. Beyond its scientific significance, the planetarium plays a crucial role in economic #development, attracting #tourism, fostering technological #innovation, and inspiring future generations in high-tech industries. On February 9, the delegation visited the newly opened Shanghai L-SNOW Ski Resort, one of the world’s largest indoor ski facilities. This cutting-edge complex reflects China’s strategic #investment in winter sports, supporting the country’s growing interest in skiing and snowboarding, particularly following the 2022 #Beijing #Winter #Olympics and 2025 #Harbin #Asian Winter #Games. Unioncamere Puglia – China: Tools to Compete. On January 29, China-Italy Chamber of Commerce CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi joined via video a seminar on #China, organized by Unioncamere - Unione italiana delle Camere di commercio, industria, artigianato e agricoltura, at the Chamber of Commerce in Foggia. The series of orientation and training sessions on the Chinese #market, focusing on its key #opportunities and #challenges, continues. Organized by Unioncamere Puglia, a partner of the #Enterprise #Europe #Network, the initiative involves the CICC in collaboration with the Chambers of Commerce of Brindisi–Taranto, Bari, and Foggia. The first modules of the course took place in December, focusing on the Chinese #regulatory #framework, China's role in the #international system, and #negotiation #strategies with Chinese partners. In Taranto, this module featured an intervention by Chairmna Riccardi who joined remotely from Shanghai. Speakers included Gianpaolo Camaggio and Laura Rotunno of Sinoglobal Investments Advisory. President Riccardi, together with Luigi Triggiani, Secretary General of Unioncamere Puglia, shared #insights and #highlighted the opportunities the Chinese market offers to #businesses from the Puglia region. The third module, held in Foggia on January 29, builds on the previous seminars. The course, titled Objective China: Tools to Compete, also aims to create a #network of companies interested in #strengthening #ties with the Chinese market, with plans to assess the feasibility of implementing tailored promotional #initiatives in the future. #chinaitalycc
