Magic Chess: Go Go (MGCC) saw its APAC Grand Launch on 21 February! 🚀 Originally an arcade game mode in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), MCGG has grown into a standalone title, driven by its popularity and dedicated community. Prior to its official launch, MCGG saw over 15 million pre-registrations, cementing its place as one of 2025’s most highly anticipated mobile games. Developed by the original team behind MLBB, the game will feature seasonal mechanics to keep gameplay fresh and exciting. To celebrate its APAC Grand Launch, MCGG is also making its first step into esports with the Magic Chess: Go Go Indonesia Community Tournament (MCCT ID). Running from March 7 to 16, the tournament provides aspiring esports athletes in Indonesia a stage to pursue their esports ambitions. With MCGG's single-player format, entry barriers and costs are significantly lower than other esports titles – making it a game where anyone can rise to the top! MOONTON Games recently collaborated with Hotlink by Maxis and Tourism Malaysia during the M6 World Championship to offer international media representatives an unforgettable experience of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As part of the event, the media were treated to a tour of the city's most iconic landmarks, from the cultural grandeur of Putra Mosque to the architectural marvel of the Petronas Twin Towers. They also explored the natural beauty of the Batu Caves and enjoyed a taste of Malaysia's vibrant culinary scene at a local restaurant. The day ended at Superpark KL, where Datuk Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, shared insights into the significant impact that the M6 World Championship had on Malaysia's tourism and economy. This partnership not only showcased Malaysia's rich culture and attractions but also highlighted how esports can drive tourism. Another huge thank you to Hotlink by Maxis for providing international media representatives with access to Malaysia's top network, ensuring they were able to share everything Malaysia has to offer to their audiences. Last month, MOONTON Games and ASUS ROG collaborated for the first-ever Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Media Championship (MMC). Through an official tournament, media from around the world were put in the competitive spotlight while showing appreciation for their contributions to the growth of MLBB esports through storytelling. Eight (8) international teams participated in the event, including those from the Philippines, Indonesia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA), Malaysia, and India. Malaysia's WTM Today won the competition, took home five (5) ASUS ROG Phone 8, and the biggest share of the prize pool worth 400,000 in-game diamonds.
