Drawing on ancient wisdom and modern strategy, two major Asian nations navigate a nuanced situation
关于我们
Taihe Institute (TI) is an independent, non-profit organization based in Beijing. Established in 2013, our mission is to provide informed analysis and opinion by way of in-depth research and be a main source of new ideas to help interested people better understand China and the rest of the world. To accomplish this mission, Taihe Institute gathers leading thinkers, intellectuals, policy and decision-makers and practitioners and encourages them to seek common values and solutions to the problems facing the global society and mankind. We aim to broaden the parameters of mutual understanding and bilateral and multilateral cooperation for better and harmonious inter-state and multi-actor relations. We undertake research into trends affecting global affairs and the international perception of China. Through in-depth analysis and expert insights, we have become a primary source of ideas and intellectual support in the creation of stronger universal ties. We focuse its research on five areas: international relations, economics and finance, science and technology, education and culture, and ethnicity and religion. As a stakeholder in managing the increasingly complex and challenging international environment, we actively collaborate with like-minded agencies and institutions. We publish our research and proposals through media partners and our internal programs, including a regular digital journal in English, the TI Observer. Major findings are published in the form of the TI Library. Taihe Institute opens its arms and offers its resources to all parties who share a vision of collective universal cooperation and peaceful coexistence.
