English: Former parliament called the Land House (German: Landhaus) or old House of the Estates (German: Ständehaus) or Old Provincial Building (German: Altes Landeshaus), buit by Gerhard Cornelius von Walrave between 1726 and 1729, serving the provincial estates or respectively, as of 1875, the provincial diet of Pomerania. In 1926 the provincial diet moved into the New Provincial Building (now City Hall of Szczecin) (German: Neues Landeshaus), erected between 1924 and 1927 by Georg Steinmetz, and the owner of the Land House, the association of Pomeranian districts and independent towns, transformed the former parliament into a museum for the Collection of Pomeranian Antiquities, established in 1913 by the Society for Pomeranian History and Antiquities. Between 1934 and 1945 the collection was named the Pomeranian State Museum (German: Pommersches Landesmuseum). Today the Old House of the Estates forms part of the National Museum in Szczecin, whereas the Pomeranian State Museum is now based in Greifswald, westerly Hither Pomerania.
