Through February rain, sleet, and snow, we’re back again with another Weekly News Roundup. This week saw a major reunion, exciting new albums and tours, and a collaborative rendition that’s still stuck in our heads.

At a benefit show in Tennessee, noted Pearl Jam fan Post Malone linked up with Eddie Vedder to perform “Better Man” and Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.” While it may seem like an unexpected collaboration, it does support the theory that in alternate universe, Post Malone is a full-on rock singer instead of a rapper.

Meanwhile, Slayer will be slaying once more: After calling it quits in 2019, the metal heroes will be reuniting for this year’s Louder Than Life and Riot Fest. Also returning from the year 2019 are Vampire Weekend, who just announce new tour dates ahead of their new album, Only God Was Above UsPlus, The Flaming Lips have revealed plans for a Yoshimi tour celebrating the records… 22nd anniversary?
