We've released our very first version of our iOS mobile app 🎉 One of the main features we've focused on is an intuitive way to be able to scan and process your expenses like a receipt on the spot with your mobile phone. Once you log in into the mobile app, you're able to make a picture with your mobile phone with the new Cybooks mobile app which is available in the app store right now. The picture you take will then be processed by our system and all information from your receipt will be extracted such as line items, amount, date or the vendor/supplier. Within the web application, Cybooks will automatically try to find the correct bank transaction if the receipt matches any transaction within your connected bank account. All done automatically. Just connect your bank account and use our mobile app to scan your receipt. With the click of a button your accrued expenses on the spot until the reconciliation of the transaction within Cybooks it will take you less than a minute.

Scan receipts with Cybooks's mobile app 🤖 We're on the finish line for a first version of our mobile app of Cybooks. Besides being able to communicate with your accountant, you will also be able to scan your receipts with the mobile app. So if you got your receipt from a restaurant lunch for example: Just scan the receipt on the spot with our mobile app and Cybooks will extract all data for you and also recommend the correct chart of account for you with our improved recommendation engine. But not only that: Cybooks also tries to identify the correct tax-rates for each line item you have. This makes it super easy to record & post your expenses which occur on the spot like a restaurant visit and saves you quite a lot of time compared to manually posting all your receipts. In a best case: It's just a single click 🚀 Another benefit is that you can track all your expenses almost in real-time 💰

We’ve made some big improvements to our document extraction process at Cybooks. Previously, the chart of account recommendations weren't as accurate as we wanted them to be. But not anymore! Our team has been working hard all week to enhance our recommendation engine, and now it’s much more accurate. These updates will also soon be rolled out for single bills, expenses, and bank transactions.

Do the onboarding for your software as simple as possible. At Cybooks, we've realized the importance of simplicity in onboarding. Accounting can be overwhelming for those unfamiliar with it, a fact I hadn't initially considered 🙈 However, it's all about trying out, learning of these mistakes, and improving 💪 Currently, we're revising our dashboard to enhance the user experience for new Cybooks users. The new dashboard cards will provide clear guidance, such as connecting bank accounts like Hellenic Bank or Bank of Cyprus, to facilitate a seamless onboarding process.
