We are proud to contribute to the extension of Integrated Wate Management Plant in Koshie. We have been appointed by Water Development Department to provide a team to full-time supervise both the design and construction phases of this remarkable project. See below the journey of the project up-until its completion.
The construction of the Achna Sewerage Plant project is nearing completion!! ✅ 🏗️ The project aims to address environmental challenges while contributing to the irrigation needs of the surrounding communities, including the Municipality of Deryneia, Municipality of Sotira, three communities in the Larnaca District (Xylophagou, Xylotympou, Ormideia), and five communities in the Famagusta District (Agios Georgios Acheritou, Avgorou, Achna, Liopetri, Frenaros). The Design, Build and Operate contract for the project was awarded to Cyfield Engineering and Contracting Public LTD (Cyfield Group) and we have been appointed by them to detail design critical civil and environmental engineering aspects of the project. Our involvement included, but was not limited to ,the following: ➡️ Detail design of the two treated effluent storage lagoons with a total capacity of approximately 645,000m2, ➡️Detail design of the emergency storage lagoon aimed at mitigating unforeseen challenges and events, ➡️ Structural design of more than 80 underground reinforced concrete pumping station wet wells, ➡️Detail design of more than 35,000m of combined pressure and gravity pipeline systems. ➡️And much more… Below are photographs of the two huge storage lagoons under construction 📸!
