Overview

MobyX is an innovative startup headquartered in Cyprus, dedicated to crafting cutting-edge software solutions for the transportation industry. We are on the hunt for a Web Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the evolution of our software products. This role requires eligibility to work within the EU and excellent command in English.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design specifications
  • Implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces with a focus on user experience
  • Design and develop responsive and interactive web applications using ReactJS
  • Integrate web applications with backend APIs to ensure smooth data flow, while making sure that there are no security risks
  • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications
  • Optimize web applications for performance and responsiveness
  • Work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders in the development process


Requirements

Essential Qualification Requirements

  • BSc or BEng in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of related working experience
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
  • Proficiency in ReactJS for web application development
  • Experience with the Next.js framework
  • Proven ability to translate wireframes into visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, demonstrating a skill set that extends to the precise implementation of designs
  • Solid understanding of web app development best practices and design patterns
  • Experience with data visualization libraries
  • Knowledge of the Tailwind CSS framework will be considered a plus
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and thrive in a rapidly-evolving business environment
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive attitude and high degree of independence
  • Excellent working knowledge of English
  • Eligible to work in the EU (preferably Cyprus)
  • (Good-to-have) Familiarity with Vue and Angular frameworks
  • (Good-to-have) Familiarity with backend concepts and development
