The OpenEuroLLM project aims to create competitive models for 32 European languages to catch up with leading American and Chinese AI technologies. 📢 Open and uncensored – both the models and training data will be publicly available. The entire project will be led by Czech computational linguist Prof. RNDr. Jan Hajic, Dr., with support from AMD. 🔥 While Europe has successful AI companies like DeepL and ElevenLabs, it still lags behind in AI development and startup support. Unsung Heroes of Our IT Team – Marek Gargulak, Project Manager 💻✨ Today, we introduce a key member of our team, who has been with us for over five years, taking on three different roles along the way. And that’s not all – Marek is so important that he even has his own office! 🏢 Marek started as an e-shop admin, managing the online store and adding new products. Over time, he worked his way up to team leader. When the opportunity arose to oversee the development of a new e-shop, he didn't hesitate and became a project manager. Today, he is responsible for both internal and customer projects. 💼✨ Outside of work, Marek is studying software engineering at the University of Zlín. He is also a passionate IT tinkerer, always coming up with and testing new tech innovations.
