Great news! 🚀 UpVision has joined the international consortium of the new SESAR project ATM-EXCITE. The project aims to enhance civil-military interoperability and coordination through excellence in science and technology, identifying requirements and solutions for civil-military aviation coordination and cyber security. In November, a pilot seminar focused on ✨ management skills development ✨ was held in the CSG Aerospace division. Organized in partnership with Franklin Covey, the event provided participants with the tools and inspiration to effectively lead teams, manage change and provide constructive feedback. Leadership development is seen throughout the division as a key pillar of long-term success, and the company plans to continue its leadership development training programs in 2025. 🚀 CASSINI Hackathon: Innovators bring solutions for a safer Europe At the end of November, we were part of the CASSINI Hackathon, which took place simultaneously in 10 European countries. Participants took on challenges that combined EU space technologies with innovative solutions for defence and security over 48 hours. Hackers competed for €9,000. 💡 The main challenges of the hackathon: 1️) Enhancing Defence & Security with Geospatial Intelligence 2️) Unmanned Drone Applications for Defence & Security Operations 3️) Orbital Security: Navigating the Collision Frontier CSG Aerospace has announced its own sub-challenge within the hackathon: Focus on Cybersecurity for Drone Traffic Management. The aim of these challenges was to develop innovative and practical solutions that will enhance cybersecurity, improve defence and contribute to a safer Europe. 🥇 How did the hackathon turn out? 1st place went to the TerraLink team 2nd place went to team KOKKONAV 3rd place was awarded by the jury to the NAIR team 👏 Congratulations to all teams and we look forward to seeing their projects in practice! Autumn belonged to career fairs 💼. Representatives of ELDIS Pardubice, RETIA, a.s., CS SOFT a.s. and Pocket Virtuality (Member of CSG Aerospace) visited the students of the Technical University of Liberec during JobTUL Days to talk to them about career opportunities in the CSG Aerospace division.
