We’re proud to share our pre-development work on an advanced Trailer Assist system that revolutionizes reversing and parking with trailers and caravans. This assistance system was designed and enhanced specifically for Volkswagen, tailored to their requirements. It enables precise and safe maneuvering with a connected trailer, even in tight spaces. The new Trailer Assist features a memory function that can record the last 50 meters of driving and safely replicate the route when reversing. This means you can let the Trailer Assist system take control of the vehicle. Using ultrasonic sensors on the bumpers, the car automatically detects obstacles and, if necessary, activates autonomous emergency braking. We believe this system will make trailer maneuvering easier for every driver, elevating parking to a whole new level of safety and comfort! Through advanced AI search capabilities and smart solutions, our experts demonstrated the transformative potential of AI in creating smarter, more efficient workflows and elevating the driver experience. ✨ Yesterday was a day full of events and meetups and you could find us at two places at once! In the morning, we started at our Prague office with a coffee break and a presentation on “Generative AI: The Engine of Innovation in Automotive,” organized as a side event during Týden inovací ČR. Markéta Audy Masopustová and Ondřej Vrabeľ prepared for participants some insightful points, including: - How AI and language models are shaping automotive innovation - How we work with AI at Digiteq Automotive - How to write better prompt We wrapped up with a Kahoot! quiz where the winner took home a LEGO Porsche. 🏆 🎉 In the afternoon, we kept the competitive spirit going as we hosted a (pub) quiz at the Technical University of Liberec, focusing on technology and automotive. Eight teams participated, and it was a fantastic first event of this kind – but definitely not the last!
