On November 13, 2024, Luxembourg proudly assumed the rotating Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers within the Council of Europe, marking its eighth tenure in this prestigious role. This milestone aligns with the Council’s celebration of 75 years of championing human rights, democracy, and the rule of law. 🕊️⚖️ For the next six months, until May 14, 2025, Luxembourg will lead efforts to strengthen European unity, raise the Council’s visibility across its member states and beyond, and promote human rights through culture, sport, and heritage. 🌍✨ This occasion highlights Luxembourg’s extensive network across the European Union—spanning business, legal, cultural, and diplomatic collaborations. Last week the International Astronautical Congress (IAC), where the world’s top #space leaders get together to tackle today’s most pressing issues, took place. Almost 11,000 space professionals from around the globe gathered in #Milan for the 75th #IAC. This year's theme was “Responsible #Space for #Sustainability,” emphasizing the importance of secure and cooperative use of #space. 🌿💫   Luxembourg Trade and Invest participated alongside the Ministère de l'Économie - Luxembourg, the Luxembourg Space Agency, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, and other key partners from the #Luxembourg #spacesector 🛰️. The Luxembourg 🇱🇺 pavilion hosted 14 exhibitors from Luxembourg's thriving space ecosystem, showcasing several innovative products and services. Lex Delles, Luxembourg’s Minister of the Economy, SME, Energy, and Tourism, delivered a statement at the IAF Space Leaders' Summit, emphasizing Luxembourg's dedication to leveraging space activities for sustainability on Earth while promoting responsible practices in space.
