Unlocking the Future of Aerospace: Conversation with Tomas Pardek.

PBS GROUP Successfully Tests First Jet Engines Assembled in the USA 🇺🇸 We are pleased to share a significant milestone for PBS GROUP—the successful testing of our first jet engines finalized in the United States. This achievement highlights the technical excellence of our products and reinforces our position in one of the world’s most important aerospace markets. So far, the lower performance PBS TJ40 series has been tested in Florida, with higher performance engines, including the PBS TJ80, PBS TJ100, and PBS TJ150 series, to follow. These engines are made from parts manufactured in the Czech Republic, with finalization and testing conducted in the United States. This milestone marks a key step in PBS GROUP’s broader strategy to expand into the U.S. market. The company is investing 480 million CZK to localize and expand production in the United States. By 2025, we aim to fully assemble and test engines using parts manufactured in the U.S., bringing us closer to our customers and strengthening partnerships with American stakeholders. “The successful completion of these tests represents a major breakthrough for PBS GROUP and our activities in the United States. It is a strong signal to our American customers and partners,” said Pavel Čechal, Executive Director of PBS GROUP. PBS GROUP is currently creating the necessary production conditions and building a robust supply chain in the U.S. to support this effort. Expanding Global Reach and Innovating for the F-35 📈 We’re pleased to share that PBS GROUP and our subsidiary PBS Velká Bíteš, were recently featured in two articles by Denik.cz, highlighting our evolution and key contributions to the defence and aerospace sectors: 🔹 Strengthening Our Role in Defence and Global Markets The articles discuss PBS GROUP’s transformation into a leading player in the defence industry, with plans to expand into the USA and India. By 2025, we expect an eightfold increase in jet engine production, supported by strategic investments in production capacity and safety, and anticipate 2024 revenues of 2 billion CZK. Our partnerships with Lockheed Martin on components for the F-35 and with a Ukrainian company on the AI-PBS-350 engine open exciting opportunities for global collaboration. Despite facing cybersecurity challenges, we continue to ensure the integrity of our operations. 🔹 Innovation in F-35 Component Manufacturing PBS Velká Bíteš is preparing to produce an innovative fuel system component for the F-35 fighter jet—a perforated grid designed for maximum performance and reliability. Using advanced technologies such as additive manufacturing and laser surface treatment, production is slated to begin within five years, marking a significant milestone in our engineering capabilities. As the Czech Republic moves toward acquiring 24 F-35 aircraft by 2031, we’re proud to contribute to this transformative program. 🌟 Reflecting on the 5th Armaments Conference: Armaments in Times of Crises 🌟 Last week, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with the Jagello 2000 Association, hosted the 5th Armaments Conference, focusing on the timely and impactful theme: "Armaments in Times of Crises." PBS Group was proudly represented by Petra Nečasová and Tomas Pardek, who seized the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange insights, and forge valuable connections within the defence and security sector. A special thanks to Brigadier General Aleš Knížek, Director of the Military Historical Institute Prague, for his warm welcome and inspiring conversations. We’re excited to explore the exhibition further and look forward to continued collaboration!
