Last week, our colleague Ondřej Mirovský had the privilege of presenting at the Urban Mobility Flow Summit in #Gdańsk, where the future of urban mobility was on full display. 🌍💡 During his presentation, we focused on the cutting-edge high-precision parking solution for shared micromobility vehicles, such as e-scooters and e-bikes, developed as part of the #ParkedByMe project. 🚲⚡ This technology is transforming urban mobility by ensuring that vehicles are parked in designated zones, improving city infrastructure and the experience for all users. The 10th annual #CIVINET conference focused on the future of sustainable urban mobility. We discussed approaches to working with data, digital transformation and decarbonisation, as well as the future of #UrbanPlanning. Particular attention was paid to parking - its location, land use and data-driven decision making - by presentation from Michael Chlubna. The #ParkedByMe project showed how modern technology can help with accurate parking of shared micromobility vehicles in cities and also how to make informed decisions based on data. 🚀 The Engaged Investments Conference together with a training for startups as part the Scale-up Programme was a great success in Prague! From intensive training at the PowerHUB-BuildINN Academy to the thrilling EIT Urban Mobility Scale-Up pitching session, the event offered entrepreneurs exposure to investors and industry leaders. 🌍 Over two action-packed days, the startups received hands-on coaching, presented their disruptive ideas to investors, and engaged in workshops that will shape their strategies. The event concluded with a cocktail reception that fueled new connections and future collaborations. Key industry players like CARNET, UnternehmerTUM, Technische Universität Braunschweig, and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft were in attendance, seeking the next breakthrough in mobility. Prague is the first city to launch high-precision shared bike and scooter parking technology. The ParkedByMe project aims to ensure proper parking and therefore tidy and safe streets for all residents. The Prague 7 Transport Department worked with us to identify 25 locations suitable for testing the technology. Thanks to the collaboration with Prague 7, Technická správa komunikací and ICT Operator we can improve shared scooter parking in the district.
