We all know that 3D printing has thousands of uses. Some people print practical gadgets, some do it for fun, and others test prototypes with the potential to change the world. Then there are those who use 3D printing to create projects that rise to the level of art. Meet another member of our #PrusaCrew, David Schwarz, who is definitely in that group! ✨ David started working with us six years ago as a model maker, tasked with demonstrating the post-processing of 3D prints, from filling in seams to final painting with a brush or airbrush. In that time, he has painted countless statues and busts of famous characters, created many amazing costumes and props, and his work has been seen by hundreds of thousands of people around the world. His role has expanded over time and he now leads a team of three colleagues who help him with his creations. He travels with his amazing models to exhibitions and conferences, where he presents them to visitors. Since many fans are interested in how he approaches post-processing and painting 3D prints, he has also prepared numerous lectures and workshops for them. You can find David's amazing projects on social media under the profile Prusaguy, which is definitely worth following! At Prusa Research, David especially appreciates the freedom and relaxed atmosphere, as well as the fact that he's always learning and improving his creative skills. He also appreciates that the management is open to new ideas and that the owners of the company take good care of our Prusa crew.
